Everyday Bushcraft Inclusion Statement
At Everyday Bushcraft, we believe the outdoors belongs to everyone.
Our mission is to create safe, welcoming, and empowering experiences where all people—regardless of background, identity, or journey—can learn, grow, and thrive.
“Bushcraft for All” means:
Respect
We respect every person’s individuality, identity, culture, and lived experience.
We use inclusive language, honour people’s chosen names and pronouns, and uphold dignity in every interaction.
Safety
We are committed to fostering both physical and psychological safety.
Our programs are designed to ensure that everyone feels supported, heard, and able to participate without fear of judgement, discrimination, or exclusion.
Belonging
Belonging is a core part of the Everyday Way.
Just as shelter in the bush protects and supports us, we strive to be a shelter for each other—a place where community, acceptance, and connection can grow.
Diversity
We welcome participants from all identities, cultures, abilities, and walks of life.
Diversity strengthens our community and reflects the rich natural world we draw inspiration from.
Our Commitment
Through the five everyday bushcraft skills—Self-Aid, Knots, Shelter, Fire, and Water—we teach resilience, confidence, and connection. These skills are not just survival tools; they are life tools that every person deserves access to.
We intentionally design programs that are inclusive, affirming, and accessible for all, including LGBTQ+ people, culturally diverse communities, families, veterans, youth, and adults.
In our bushcraft community, everyone belongs—and everyone has something valuable to contribute.
