Everyday Bushcraft: September Recap

September was a truly memorable month for Everyday Bushcraft. We had the pleasure of running multiple courses and connecting with some fantastic people, all while sharing meaningful moments in the bush. Here’s a quick recap of what we got up to this month:

My Side of the Mountain - Parent and Children Program

We kicked off the month with our My Side of the Mountain program. This parent and children adventure gave families the chance to bond and learn essential bushcraft skills while embracing the beauty of nature. It was an incredible experience to see families work together to build shelters, light their first campfires, and connect over the simplicity of the outdoors.

Fundamentals Course

Our Fundamentals Course returned this month, providing participants with a strong foundation in everyday bushcraft. We explored core skills like fire making, water purification, and shelter building, while also discussing how these skills can be applied to life’s everyday challenges. It’s always rewarding to see how much confidence and resilience people build through this program.

Adventurer Course

For those ready for a challenge, our Adventurer Course pushed boundaries, testing participants’ limits and problem-solving skills in real wilderness conditions. It was a true test of resilience and teamwork, and we were so proud to see everyone thrive.

New Courses Launched: Expanding the Everyday Bushcraft Experience

We are excited to announce two new courses that were developed and delivered in September!

Military Cadets Course

Another exciting launch was a tailored version of our Everyday Bushcraft Fundamentals Course designed for Military Cadets. Delivered in a bivouac setting, this program gave cadets an opportunity to build practical bushcraft skills while preparing them for resilience and adaptability in the field. This course is a new favorite, as it helps young leaders hone both their outdoor and leadership skills.
